Terms of Use

These terms govern use of the private Questions to Stories Codex Connector.

Private, limited service

The connector is an owner-operated utility for the Questions to Stories channel. It is not a public consumer service and does not accept public accounts or registrations.

Permitted use

The connector may be used only by an authorized owner of the connected Google and YouTube account, for lawful review of that owner’s channel information, performance and estimated revenue reports, and owner-approved Private video uploads. The user must comply with Google, YouTube, OpenAI, and applicable legal requirements. By using the connector, the user also agrees to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service.

Access boundaries

The connector uses youtube.readonly for account review, youtube.upload for uploads, and yt-analytics-monetary.readonly for monetary and non-monetary analytics reports. The localhost dashboard is read-only and cannot change monetization, payouts, ads, videos, or account settings. The separate local upload tool accepts only an explicitly previewed, hash-matching MP4, forces the new video to Private, and suppresses subscriber notifications. It provides no tool for unlisted/public publishing, editing, commenting, or deletion and does not automatically retry an upload with an unknown outcome.

Third-party services

The connector relies on Google’s YouTube API and Codex/OpenAI. Those services are governed by their own terms, privacy practices, availability, and technical limits. CircleHooks is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google, YouTube, or OpenAI.

Availability and warranty

The connector is provided “as is” for private use. It may change, stop, or be unavailable. No warranty is made that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. The account owner remains responsible for reviewing results and decisions made from them.

Ending access

The owner may stop using the connector and revoke Google access at any time through Google Account Connections. Local credentials may also be removed from the owner’s device.

Changes and questions

These terms may be updated as the private connector changes. Questions may be sent to the developer contact shown on the Google OAuth consent screen.
